Message: WOW... Iowa may have lost the tug part of this weekend event, but their overall event was like Disney World compared to Illinois. Seemed to be a lot of slack in the river on the Illinois side from an outsider perspective. From Montana, just venturing our way through the midwest on our way home and stayed the weekend in Illinois. We decided to stay just to see this unique event. So glad we did! We are coming back next year and planning to bring our friends and family. LOVED THE FIREWORKS TOO! Better than Jackson Hole, WY 4th of JULY! GREAT JOB!!! Way to go Iowa and Illinois and high five to the event coordinator and or board members and committee members that put this entire event on. Illinois take notes from Iowa - they can help grow your event and Iowa- take Illinois help and coaching advice on tugging. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. See you next year. Mike and Anita
